Spring

Following the Celtic wheel we find ourselves in the peak energy of Spring and the element of air, it's intoxicating. I find Spring a heady time, so easy to get lost in one's thoughts and dreams. I feel like my head in constantly in the clouds. Perhaps it's all that energy racing through the trees, bursting open buds to paint the winter silhouettes green.

Everything feels tender. Those first spring flowers with their delicate fragrances. Have you ever noticed the scent of a flower is never as intense when you smell it a second time?  In our haste to re-experience the pleasure we lose the true depth of our first encounter. We sacrifice our depth of being, our ability to stay in the moment. In our preoccupation with the future how many of us miss the call of the avian orchestra inviting us to explore Nature's emerging green mantle.

If you have not yet connected with Spring why not try the following activities to connect with the energy of Spring
- Spend time cloud watching
- Meditate to Nature's avian orchestra. The dawn chorus is amazing.
- Listen to Vivaldi's Spring and create a canvas of line and colour celebrating Spring.
- Inhale the fragrance of a Spring flower and stay in the moment.
